Cascade Bar & Grill at Costanoa uses local, organic, and handcrafted ingredients in its offering of fresh California coastal cuisine. Cascade maintains Costanoa's commitment to sustainability by working with local family farms, organic growers, and sustainable/fair trade producers in order to present you with fresh, delicious food made from the best and most responsibly sourced ingredients possible. Cascade's menu is updated seasonally to include freshly harvested ingredients from nearby farms as well as Costanoa's own organic farm, so please check back with us to see what's new!

No outside food or drink is permitted in Cascade with the exception of winewith corkage fee $25 per 750ml limited to wines not presented on our wine list.

Costanoa is pleased to announce Chef Serge Marchale

Chef Serge Marchale

Serge is joining our team from the wilds of the Big Sur coast where his most recent assignment was Executive Chef at Treebones resort where the focus was a fresh, coastal food & a sustainability engineered menu.

Originally from the Principality of Monaco, Serge attended Lcyee Technique D’Hotellerie et De Tourisme in Nice, France.  He honed his culinary arts in France and Israel training at the Park Plaza on the French Riviera and Blue Bay Resort in Netanya, Israel respectively.

After immigrating to the U.S. he worked alongside Jacques Gonthier, “Premier Ouvrier de France (France’s best chef of the year) at La Reserve in Scottsdale, AZ.  He was later part of the team which opened the Point Resort at Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix.

Chef Serge has done stints at Scandia Restaurant in Beverley Hills, Cano’s in Newport Beach along with several restaurants in the San Francisco area including Julius’ Castle, Nick’s Lighthouse and New Joe’s.   He served as Executive Chef at the prestigious Family Club and Family Farm in Woodside, CA.  He was voted “Best Wild Game Chef” by the wine and food society two years in a row.
